En abril de 2004 dieron un taller en Hangar sobre "Legal/Public space" y la pareja Ion y Ojvid que componen N55 vinieron a Barcelona desde Dinamarca con su hijo recién nacido. Durante una semana impartieron el taller con la misma naturalidad con que cogían al bebé en brazos durante una explicación o uno de ellos salía a alimentarlo mientras el otro seguía hablando. Fué una lección de cómo se puede ser artista, pareja, padre y madre y no morir en el intento.
Comentaron la extrema dificultad que tiene realizar la carrera de Bellas Artes en Dinamarca, donde equivale a una ingeniería y goza de gran prestigio social. Igual que aquí ;)
Sus trabajos son impecables, con una preocupación por temas sociales, ambientales y sostenibles, con un enfoque que hace de la utopía algo muy próximo.

In april 2004 they came to Barcelona to impart a workshop on "Legal/Public space", and both Ion and Ojvid, the couple that runs N55, leaved Denmark and came to Barcelona carrying their new born child. For a week I could see them giving talks while taking the baby in their arms, or taking turns to speak while the other one feeded the baby. It was a practical lesson on how to be an artist, a couple, father and mother, and not to die in the way.
They commented how hard is to get the degree in Fine Arts in Denmark, where it is compared to an engeniering, and deserves social respect. Same as here ;)
Their works are impecable, with a concern on social organization, environment and soustenability focused in such a way that makes Utopy draw near.
